We have built a Khambhati well inside the premises to conserve rainwater to improve the groundwater level and simultaneously address water logging issues in the area.
The entry fees to the forest are wet waste from home or plastic picked from the road
We will teach Urban farming as a survival skill for those interested.
The forest have 2000 plants of different local species.
The big and medium-sized trees will be up for adoption. Once adopted name, handprints, and date of adoption will be etched on the tree for a lifetime.
Rejuvenating lakes
We rejuvenated three natural lakes at Tintoda village in Gandhinagar district. After the rainfall, the three lakes accumulated 15000 crore liters of water.
We also rejuvenated a 10 Acre lake named Nikol Gaam Talaav along with two other lakes Surbhi, and Stavan Lake in Nikol along with Mega Foundation which are still blooming.
Khambhati Well
We have built five Khambhati wells across Ahmedabad city which will store 6 crore liter of water- enough to suffice the yearly water requirement of 350 families.
It will address a waterlogging issue that disrupts the city.
Rainwater generally drains into gutter, but Khambhati wells help water into the ground through well thus improving ground water levels in the urban cities which is declining rapidly.
India's First Canopy
The will give significant amount of relief to our civilians during the summer time.
